Kalcrest Site Services are to continue their sponsorship of AFC Emley – and get involved in the Huddersfield club’s new commercial committee.

A specialist recruitment agency for the construction business, Kalcrest have put their name on the club’s change kit.

That will continue next season as Emley aim to mount another Northern Counties East League First Division promotion push.

Darren Hepworth’s side finished fifth this time after leading the table at one stage of the campaign.

Joanne Hurley, head of Kalcrest Site Services, said: “It has been a great season for AFC Emley and at the same time our business has gone from strength to strength.

“I hope both Kalcrest and the football club will continue to flourish in the next year too.”

Emley chairman Nigel Wakefield said: “We’ve had the best season in the 10 years since the club was formed.

“And the progress made off the field in the last 12 months has been phenomenal.

“There is a real buzz around the place and Kalcrest have completely bought into that.”

The new commercial committee at the Welfare Ground includes representatives of Kalcrest and the club’s other main sponsor Integra.

Emley vice-chairman Joanna Dickens, also a member of the new committee, said: “We’re not a club that wants to just take the money and run.

“We see any business involvement as a partnership.

“The committee is about embedding our sponsors at the heart of the club.

“We are fostering new connections and fresh ideas for the good of AFC Emley and the businesses that support us.”
