Honley have been promoted into the Taylors Timber Premier Division of the West Riding County Amateur League.
The Holme Valley club, who were fourth in Division I last season, have been moved up to replace Ovenden West Riding, who resigned from the league last week.
And Honley have a cracking start in the top flight – which is dominated by Huddersfield-area clubs – as they’ve got a home derby against Kirkburton this Saturday (2.30).
Route One Rovers, who were third in Division II last season, have been moved up to Division I to take the place of Honley.
They open their campaign at West Horton.
