Everton have now confirmed their bid for 22-year-old Leeds ace Sam Byram but West Ham could launch a late tilt for his signature .

One club who won't be adding to their squad this month is Cardiff City , who have become the fourth Championship club to be hit with a transfer embargo.

The Bluebirds are currently deciding whether to appeal the Football League's decision on the embargo, which is currently in place until the end of January.

Fulham, Bolton and Nottingham Forest are also prohibited from making any signings after falling foul of the FFP rules.
