Huddersfield Town’s Under 21 Development squad beat Crewe Alexandra 2-1 at PPG Canalside.
Goalscorers were Jake Carroll, with a neat left-foot finish into the corner in the first half, and Duane Holmes, who grabbed the winner from a Philip Billing drag-back.
In between times, Crewe equalised with a Ryan Colclough penalty following a foul by Jacob Hanson.
Jake Carroll, Murray Wallace, Joe Lolley and Jake Charles were in the Town starting line-up.
