AFC Emley will look to continue their impressive start to the season at home to Eccleshill in the Northern Counties League Division I tonight (7.45)

Bodd Darren Hepworth’s side ensured they stayed in second place in the table, a point behind leaders Hemsworth Miners Welfare, after a 7-0 home win over Hall Road Rangers.

Emley were five goals to the good by half-time after Max Leonard gave them the perfect start with a goal after just seven minutes.

Sam Jerome hit the second four minutes later and Doran Jordan made in three before the quarter hour.

Jerome then completed a quickfire hat trick scoring on 22 and 36 minutes.

In the second half Leonard added his second before skipper Paul Sykes rounded off the scoring on 75 minutes.
