IN the Under 18s, AFC Emley picked up a confidence boosting win at Drighlington.

Josh Senior, Robert Whetham, Gary Nixon and Oliver Ghee ran in a goal each without reply as Emley secured a 4-0 win.

Dalton Dynamoes Under 16s kept their Division III title challenge alive with a home victory over Glen Juniors. Jordan Smith, Joseph Jadach, Kieran McMinn and an own goal secured a solid 4-1 win.

In the Under 15s, Shelley remain among the Division II promotion chasers following victory at Drighlington.

Luke Simpson and Jamie Underdown scored a goal each for Drighlington to keep the visitors on their toes, but replies from Luke Schofield, Joe Killock, Reece Hewitt and Greg Killock were enough to secure the points for Shelley.

Daniel Williams and Adam Burton scored the goals to give Meltham a 2-1 home win over Hartshead in the Under 15 Division III.

And in the same division, Westend picked up a first three-point haul of the season but only after surviving a late rally from Hade Edge.

Two goals each for Liam Smith and Josh Newburn left the home side with a comfortable four-goal half-time advantage and Connor Moss made it five soon after the break but, although three late goals from the visitors set the home nerves jangling, Westend held out for a 5-3 victory.

Deighton remain top of Division II in the Under 13s thanks to victory over Hepworth.

Dominic Bennett was on target for Hepworth but replies from Walton, Ben Stott and Jordan McLaughlin secured a sixth straight win.

But Deighton are not clear as rivals Hartshead and Linthwaite also won.

A Nial Rhodes hat trick and one each for Joel Poskitt and Will Bennett gave Hartshead a 5-1 win over Drighlington.

Meanwhile, Luke Garside was also a hat trick hero and Scott Sykes was on target as Linthwaite grabbed a narrow 4-3 victory over Rastrick. Nathaniel Uttley, Thomas Calvert and Lewis Binns scored for Rastrick.
