HOYLE Cup holders Bay Athletic launch their defence of the trophy today with a first-round visit to Grange Moor.
While Bay are second-bottom of Division I, they will be expected to go through against a Moor side third-bottom of Division II.
It’s one of three ties as the Works League swings back into action after the long weather and holiday break.
The others are Lindley Lib Res v Uppermill and Hepworth United v Golcar United.
Golcar, placed second in Division II, will fancy their chances of upsetting top-flight mid-table side Hepworth.
There is little separating Lindley Lib Reserves and Uppermill in Division II.
