PAK Rangers were made to work hard by Wellington A before earning a 2-1 victory in the Get Smart Challenge Cup first round.
Rangers led early on through Kieran Donaldson, but Wellington levelled with a Dom Harris penalty.
However Rangers pressure paid off when Brighton Magadza grabbed the winner with from the penalty spot with five minutes remaining.
Division I outfit Pear Tree beat Wellington B 4-1 to progress to the quarter-finals, where they will face Pak Rangers. Chris Redmile (2), Martin Newham and Paul Askham scored.
In the quarter-finals Division II side Meltham Victoria Park defeated Division I rivals Black Bull 6-3 and will play Woodfield Park or Waterloo in the semis.
Meltham opened the scoring when a Tom Mathews free-kick was headed in by Joe Rowland.
But they were pegged back by half-time as Bull took a 3-1 lead into the second half with Bradley, Simpson and Gill on target.
Mathews dragged his side back into the game, scoring from the penalty spot, before lobbing in the equaliser and he then put them back in front with his hat-trick goal on 80 minutes.
A rare strike from Danny Knutton five minutes from time gave Meltham a cushion and Mathews ensured progress with his fourth goal of the game.
In the Interdivisional matches top-flight leaders Waterloo lost 3-2 to Division II table toppers Walpole Community.
Eddie Hamlet (2) and Willie notched for Walpole, with Kilner and Mitchell replaying for Waterloo.
In Division II second placed Helion edged out Field Head 4-3, with Mick Hall hitting a hat trick and Stephenson completed the scoring for Helion.
Sixth-placed Woolpack earned victory with a 5-2 win against Huddersfield Irish. Newburn, Conroy, Arnold (2) and Anderson scored for the victors.
