YORKSHIRE Old Boys beat West Cheshire 3-2 to reach the semi-finals of the National League Systems Cup.

Yorkshire OB’s took the lead on 28 minutes at the Vauxhall Motors ground, when a Tom Marston corner was headed in by skipper Tom Priestley.

A foul on Matty Lloyd led to the second goal with John Mallinson scoring from the penalty spot, however, Alan Bull pull a goal for Cheshire with the last kick of the first half.

In the second half Collegians keeper Sam Burns worked hard to keep Cheshire out, with Huddersfield Amateur star Sam Clark putting in a great stint in defence.

West Cheshire had a player sent off, and Lloyd restored Old Boys lead in the 66th minute, leaving the 10-men to grab a late consolation goal.
