FORMER Town full-back Andy Thackray has retired.
His last club was UniBond League Premier Division Mossley, who he joined in February 2005 after a spell as player-assistant manager at Ashton.
Thackray began his career as a junior with Manchester City before moving to Town. His League career then took in Newport, Wrexham and Rochdale.
He then helped Halifax to the Conference title in 1997-98 before joining Nuneaton Borough and then Ashton United.
Thackray was Mossley's Player of the Year.
