COACH Terry Yorath today looked ahead to the home Nottingham Forest clash and told Town's players: "Be positive!"

Yorath felt Town let a victory chance slip away against Bradford and wants a more ruthless edge on Saturday (3.00).

He strongly believes, however, that Town are firmly on course for promotion - providing the squad stick together and avoid major injuries and suspensions.

"I just felt we weren't positive enough on Saturday and there was no quality in our final ball into the area," said Yorath, who revealed that Pawel Abbott remains under treatment for the gashed knee which forced him off in front of a season-high crowd of 17,331.

"It was end to end stuff and we did some good things, but we just didn't have that edge to finish them off. We had some cake, but not the icing.

"At least we've taken four points off Bradford, which is a decent return, and we've now got a great game to prepare for which, hopefully, we will be strong enough and positive enough to win."

On the season, Yorath added: "Everyone in the club is positive that we can challenge for promotion but it's no good talking about it, you have to go out and do it.

"We have put ourselves in a nice position where if we kick on from here and avoid any bad injuries and suspensions, we are looking forward to having a very good season.

"Hopefully, at the end of a very good season, you win promotion."

Yorath praised Nathan Clarke.

"Nathan's got experience but he's still only young," he said.

"He's a good footballer and I'm surprised we haven't had a bid for any of our good young players.

"It might come and we might regret it, but we've got a lot of quality. If we can keep them together for the next few years, we could do very well indeed."
