A TRIO of former Town players will be battling to keep Carlisle on course for a Football League return on Friday.
Tom Cowan, Kevin Gray and Chris Billy were all in the side which lost 1-0 to Aldershot in their Conference play-off semi-final first leg at the Recreation Ground yesterday.
Nick Crittenden scored for the Shots after 48 minutes.
The big return match is at Brunton Park on Friday.
The other semi-final first leg between Stevenage and Hereford finished 1-1.
