TOWN will have their biggest ever following for a play-off final on Sunday.

Eager fans have already snapped up 28,000 tickets for the League I Old Trafford promotion showpiece against Peterborough United.

The Galpharm club have an allocation of 35,956 seats, including the Streford End section of Manchester United's Theatre of Dreams, and seem certain to top 30,000 sales. Peterborough had yesterday gone through the 10,000 tickets barrier.

Town had a following of just under 27,000 when they beat Bristol Rovers at Wembley in 1995. At Cardiff in 2004, Town had easily the biggest section of a crowd of 37,298.
