Huddersfield Town returned empty-handed from their trip to Blackpool.

The Town faithful turned up in large numbers but despite the support, it wasn't enough to generate a win.

But what did you make of the performance?

Above are the collated ratings of fans and the marks by Examiner Huddersfield Town reporter Doug Thomson.

Below are fan comments submitted after the game.

To think Town players get paid for this tripe. Nottingham Forrest, Sheffield Wed, Doncaster - now this! No passion, no fight, no hope of Championship football next season. Richard. Kirkburton

Without being emotive, honest fans deserve so very much more than these players are giving. Paul, York

Worst performance of season by a mile, lack of interest no heart and totally disorganised. Harry, Mount

Yet another so called "work in progress" performance - when are Town actually going to get better instead of us being told by the manager "we will get better"? The players excepting Lynch were all there so what's the excuse? Roger, Menston

This group of players are never going to adapt to Robins' preferred style. Time to start playing to their individual strengths instead. PJacko, Settle

It is a good job bottom teams not picking up points. We would be in another relegation fight as season gone on we have gone backwards. Glenn, Leigh

Worryingly, we have gone through a phase where we had loads of chances but did not take them, to (Blackburn game apart) not even creating chances from all our possession. We struggle when we concede first and the substitutions made did not change things. One player on the bench who has proved in his short appearances that he can have an impact on games was once again ignored after being farmed out to, supposedly, gain fitness. James, Sheffield

Another game where the team don't seem to know what the system is they are playing, they nervously pass it sideways across the back for a while then just lump it forward for it to come straight back! Come on management and team, yet again thousands travel to give you support only to be let down big time. I only hope 44 points is enough to stay up because I cannot see where any more are coming from. So Tuesday how about a proper game plan and some passion? Dec, Meltham

Very poor performance against a poor side. There's just no urgency when we have the ball - passing the ball sideways and backwards won't bring an equaliser. It's not rocket science, you need to get the ball into the right areas for the likes of Vaughan and Wells. Gerrard particularly seems incapable of passing the ball forward. Graham, Huddersfield

If Mark Robins doesn't get the team working together soon we will be in another relegation battle. If we are playing a passing game, all well and good but we need to pass the ball with a purpose (ie getting goals), not mostly passing the ball in our own half of the field with little awareness that going towards the opposition goal is a fairly important part of the game of football! Kev, Sowerby Bridge

A fateful combination - the players that repeatedly try aren't very good, and the more skilful players don't try very often. I'm not sure whether Hamill and Norwood, for example, broke sweat. Very very disappointing, but becoming par for the course. Luke, Edgerton

Yet again great Town following, but we don't get paid as much as them lads, get your game in gear, and sharpish. Terry, Fenay Bridge

Relegation scrap will only be avoided this year because there are poorer teams in the League. Robins must be on borrowed time if he cannot motivate this bunch of wage thieves to play more consistently! Mike, Clayton West

Without Lynch three at the back just does not work. Surely Mr Robins must realise this by now - can we please play 4-4-2 on Tuesday with Dixon and Woods in their recognised positions and Hammill and Scannell out wide - it's a simple game - we don't need a master plan . Ali H, Thurstonland

90% overhit passes and a home club ref, just about sums it up, the real winners again were the great 2,000 who made the trip. We could be soon looking over our shoulders. David, Wyke

What on earth has gone wrong, has the whole team gone into end of season mode? It's only as a result of poorer performances by the teams below us that an immediate relegation fight isn't on our hands, but give it another three or four matches like this and we will be right in it. Trojanhorse, Kirkburton

Abysmal uninspired performance. Got everything they deserved today. Major changes in confidence required. James, Brighouse

Yet again we start with three at the back, play badly and go behind before Robins switches to a flat back four. When is he going to learn? How many successful teams play this system? We are slowly being sucked into the relegation battle and are moving backwards alarmingly. Hopefully, the teams below us will continue to lose. Terry, Lincoln

Worst game this season - not one ounce of passion. Steve, Hertfordshire
