LOAN keeper Simon Eastwood still has an exciting future at Town.

That’s the message from manager Lee Clark, whose 20-year-old back-up stopper is in League II with Bradford City.

“Simon is a great character, we like him here and we firmly believe we’ve got another excellent keeper on our hands,” said Clark.

“He is doing well at Bradford, they are very pleased with him and it’s much better for him to be involved in regular league football rather than sitting on our bench or playing in the Reserves.”

Eastwood, pictured, has twice been a penalty shoot-out hero for Bradford, helping them through in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.

“He’ll be ready to go straight into action for us should he be needed and that’s the benefit of this loan,” added the boss, who will look again at trialist wingman Anthony Moure-Komenen when the Reserves have more matches from January onwards.
