TOWN'S Young Guns theme has again proved popular for the club's 2006 calendar.

Players posed in `Wild West' outfits for the glossy production, which has been selling fast at Sporting Pride on Cloth Hall Street and at the Stadium Superstore.

Priced £5.99, the calendar features Andy Booth as the January subject, while manager Peter Jackson and his staff - Terry Yorath and Martyn Booty - feature in September.

"It has proved really popular as a Christmas or New Year gift and would be ideal as a last-minute stocking filler," said retail manager Michele Adamson.

"They are still selling fast, so if anyone doesn't want to miss out they should come down quickly."

An ideal time would be tonight, because both Town and the rugby league Giants have players making appearances at both shops (which are open until 8pm).

From 6pm to 7pm, Town have Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Danny Schofield and Phil Senior at Sporting Pride while Andy Booth, Nathan Clarke and Jon Worthington will be available to meet customers and sign autographs at the Stadium Superstore.

For the Giants, Chris Thorman is at Sporting Pride from 6.30pm to 7.30pm and Matt Gardner is at the Superstore (same times).

The Town shops and offices are open from 9am to 5pm tomorrow and the shops are open on Saturday from 9am until noon.

Both the offices and shops are closed on Sunday and Monday while Sporting Pride remains closed on Tuesday. At the Stadium, it's business as usual from 10am on Tuesday.
