Carl Boyeson will be the referee when Huddersfield Town host Millwall on Saturday, with Phil Gibbs in the middle at Wolves next Wednesday.

Boyeson, from Hull, has taken seven matches already this season, including Aston Villa versus Leyton Orient in the Capital One Cup second round.

His last Town match was the 1-1 home draw with Derby County last Boxing Day, while he also refereed the 2012-13 1-0 home win over Crystal Palace, then managed by current Millwall boss Ian Holloway.

Gibbs, from Birmingham, has taken just one match so far this season, Rochdale against Coventry City in League I, although he will referee Saturday’s League II clash between Dagenham & Redbridge and York City.

His last Town appointment was the 2-0 home defeat by Leicester City in October 2012.
