Leeds United are believed to be interested in a move for Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell.

That's according to a report from HITC Sport , which claims that Wigan Athletic are in pole position to win the race for the 22-year-old, because they are willing to offer him a pay rise to return to the DW Stadium - where he spent time on loan in 2013/14.

Nottingham Forest and Norwich City have also been linked with the player, who wants to leave Old Trafford this summer at the end of his contract in the search for first team football.

Wednesday are due back on July 4.
