According to the Express and Star, Wolverhampton Wanderers are interested in taking the forward on a year-long loan.

Wolves has just been taken over by Fosun International, led by Chinese billionaire Guo Guangchang, and money is no longer an issue for the midlands side who have already signed Joao Teixeira, Helder Costa and Prince Oniangue.

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho, who coached Balotelli at Inter Milan, has reportedly told the 26-year-old that a move away from the Premier League may benefit his career, alerting Wolves.

Derby County have been linked with a move for Manchester United striker James Wilson who spent time on loan at Brighton last season.

The Telegraph have reported United are willing to let the 20-year-old head out for another year on loan, gaining the attention of both Derby and Fulham, with the Rams thought to be in pole position.

On the speculation, Derby boss Nigel Pearson said: "Again, in regards to speculation about comings and goings - we will make statements when appropriate.

"I don't think it's right to talk about other teams' players but when there is positive news, we will let you know.

"Until then, I don't intend to get involved in speculation."

Brentford are tracking 18-year-old Arsenal prospect Chris Willcock before a bid to land the teenager on loan.

According to GetWestLondon, the Bees are a winger light and are keen to bring in the promising talent from the Gunners.

Brentford have a good record in the loan market, landing John Swift, Marco Djurcin and Sergi Canos for the campaign last season, with all three playing a vital role in the first team squad.

Reading have signed Liechtenstein international Sandro Wieser on a free transfer.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder left Swiss side FC Thun in the summer and has now signed a three-year deal at the Madejski Stadium.

Leeds United have secured the signature of Swedish defender Pontus Jansson on loan from Torino.

The centre-back has won eight caps for Sweden and was an unused member of their Euro 2016 squad.
