Huddersfield Town fans have begun making plans for the new season around the 2016/17 Championship fixtures.

Early away trips to Newcastle and Villa Park have sparked the imagination, while Boxing Day and New Year fixtures are always among the first matches examined by exiled followers returning home for the holiday season.

But the prospect of kick off times being moved for TV has always been a possibility.

This season the Football League and Sky Sports are announcing the TV picks earlier than usual, and fans will have at least five weeks' notice of any changes.

Live games for matchdays one and two have already been confirmed.

And the live games for match days 3-9 are due to be announced on Wednesday, July 13 at 4pm.

This season's television deal sees 93 Championship games screened, along with 20 games from League One and League Two.

When the TV selections will be announced:

August 13-end of September fixtures – announced July 13

October – November 12 – announced August 5

19th November to January 2 – announced 30 September

Rest of January – 30 October

February – 30 November

From February onwards – announced on a five-week rolling basis
