CROSLAND MOOR Allstars have been celebrating success in the RCD Junior League.

The club was formed in September 2005 as a project to keep children off the streets and to encourage them to lead a healthier life through sport.

Dads in the area felt there was a need for some form of sporting activities for their children to be involved in.

And as part of the project two teams were entered into the RCD Junior League with the Under 12s winning the Division IV and the Under 13s winning Division IVB at their first attempts.

Allstars co-ordinator Derrick Cockburn said: “This has made the local community very proud.”
