CONSTRUCTIVE criticism will be at the heart of manager Simon Grayson’s managerial mantra this season.

While he acknowledges there is a time for rollickings to be handed out, the three-times promotion winner feels a more measured approach often reaps better dividends.

“I’ve always wanted my players to get focused on what they’ve got to do,,” he said.

“They need to respond in the right manner and, this season, I’ve put together a squad I’m very excited about.

“We’ve got a lot of young players learning the game, but I’ve got every faith in them.”
