David Wagner believes James Husband is ready to kick on with Huddersfield Town.
The on-loan Middlesbrough left-back could play in successive games for the first time since signing in the Championship clash at Nottingham Forest.
Husband made his third appearance as Town lost 2-1 at Preston North End last Saturday.
And head coach Wagner was pleased with the 23-year-old’s contribution.
“James is a good player and a good guy as well,” said the boss of the former Doncaster Rovers man.
“He has developed into our way of playing the game.
“He is fast and has good movement, which is important in our way of playing.”
Husband first arrived in early January and has since had his loan extended until the end of the season.
“He came to us in a busy period and needed a couple of weeks to understand what we like to have from our full-backs,” added Wagner.
“James has made good steps in training and especially against Preston, did a good job.
“With Jason Davidson here as well, we have competition in this position. This is what I like.”
