MY focus, and the focus of our players, is still on the rest of this season, but the thought of next season is definitely very exciting for everyone at Huddersfield Town.

We still have a lot of hard work to put in for the final nine games of this season, starting with the local derby at Leeds United on Saturday, but it is great news that Dean has been able to announce such good value season tickets.

I have talked many times about how important the support of Huddersfield fans has been since my arrival in November.

I believe that the cheering from the stands can make key moments in games go in our favour, as it can boost the players to do things that are otherwise not possible!

Because of this, I’m really looking forward to seeing even more Huddersfield fans at our stadium for our home games next year.

Football is very similar in many ways, whether you are in Germany or England. One similarity is that football should be the game of the people; a game that everyone can come to, enjoy and feel a part of the family.

The cheap prices for season tickets next season will give more people than ever the chance to come and watch our team.

As much as we need your support, the responsibility is with our team and players to give you something to cheer about and that is what we must always try to do.

I hope people have been able to see that our players have always given everything and that must always happen, but we also want to score goals and win games; something that everyone wants to cheer.

My first four months in Huddersfield have been very enjoyable – apart from the weather! – and I hope the next months and years go just as well!

Everyone – staff and fans – have made me and Christoph feel very welcome and part of the Huddersfield family from the first moment.

And I hope we can make our new or returning supporters feel the same way next year.
