DAVID WAGNER wants Huddersfield Town to show they have learned the lessons of their defeat at Brighton and Hove
His side proved susceptible to the counter-attack at the Amex Stadium as goals by Bobby Zamora and on-loan Manchester United striker James
Wilson won it for the home side.
“We have spoken about this and studied clips to see what went wrong,” said the head coach.
“The biggest question in such situations is are you fresh enough and focused enough to see the danger which is developing?
“You have to see what is happening early and take action to clear the situation before it can develop.
“This was our mistake in the last game, and we have to learn.”
Wagner, whose side’s goal came from Harry Bunn, his fourth of the season, added: “We should also speak about Brighton, who are a good team.
“But perhaps we were not fresh enough.
“In one way after five games in 15 days, this is normal.
“In another, it shows me what we have to work on to get to the level we want to be at.”<p/>
