PROUD club owner Ken Davy today called on 30,000 Town fans to roar the club to promotion in Cardiff.

The club could win £200,000 from their appearance in the Third Division play-off final at the Millennium Stadium a week on Monday, when a record crowd is on the cards.

Town drew 2-2 last night, to win 4-3 on aggregate against Lincoln.

They will now meet either Mansfield or Northampton in the final.

Mr Davy said today: "The fans have stuck by this great club through thick and thin. This final is a fitting reward for them.

"They haven't had too much to cheer over recent years. So this is an occasion for everyone to enjoy and - hopefully - cheer the team to promotion. The character of the squad shone through last night. This is a fantastic achievement by Peter Jackson, his staff, the players and everyone at the club - and we know we have the ability to win the final.

"Win or lose at Cardiff, though, something very special is happening with professional sport at the stadium," added Mr Davy.
