It's not been a great few weeks to be a Huddersfield Town fan if recent comments are anything to go by.

Another defeat coupled with two sendings off plus a gaffe from the keeper i n the 3-1 defeat to Derby County seems to have left fans feeling distinctly cheesed off.

Great defensive display in second half considering we had two players less. Jack, Huddersfield

Once again we are nothing more than a very poor team, with a second rate manager. Time for a change at the top. Us Town fans are deluded if they think Robins is the right man. Andrew, Benalmadena

Remaining 9 players showed great resilience in the second half not to concede. Let's stick together and take that character into Friday's game. William, Huddersfield

Forget the muppet shows recently, nothing less than three points will do on good friday, away fans superb again.David Wyke.

We need a leader off the pitch, no matter how many changes MR makes, the result is the same, how anyone can think it will be different next season I don't know. The team look dejected & disorganised, new signing' who came full of energy now look flat & bemused, hence Wells' muted goal celebration. Now MR losing fans as well as changing room, next surely the board. New manager needs to be stronger & experienced at this level for Town to progress. Steve, Huddersfield

Once again we have shot ourselves in the foot. Another glaring mistake from Smithies and 2 experienced players dismissed. Things have to change next season whichever division we are in. David, Huddersfield

Come on Deano, pull the trigger before it's too late. The worst back to back Town games I've seen in over a decade! Nige, Rastrick

Well the futures not bright, nor is it orange, in fact the future looks bleak as a Town fan these days as I really don't see where the next point, never mind 3 is coming from. OK so smithies made a howler but there's ten other players on that pitch who in my eyes are not playing with the passion and pride required for the mighty blue and white. Don't know if summats going on behind the scenes or what but surely the inept performances from all bar 3 or 4 players of recent weeks, well since New Year to be precise cant all be down to a bad run of form all at the same time. Yes I know we are no Barcelona or Real Madrid, we are Huddersfield Town, a once mighty but now quite small club in Championship terms but what we do expect is even just a little bit of grit and determination and true terrierlike spirit, not getting booked for silly offences or gifting goals away. Now what we need now is each and every one of 'em to stand up and be counted and whoever plays on Friday, plays with at least an ounce of passion. Dan, Birkby

An error by Smithies handed the games to Derby, but don't blame for that, as he pulled off some great saves to keep the score line down. The players who should be blamed are Clarke and Lynch, they cost us the match. A far better performance after the Ipswich debacle. Even so, Mark Robins is going to take us down, if not the other teams below us will falter. His signings have been poor and other than Wells, we are back to square one. Robins said this season would be a stepping stone up the table and then next season a push for promotion. I'm afraid he's deluding himself, the players and the fans and if Dean Hoyle believes what he's saying, he needs to go and see his shrink. The fans once again were tremendous. Stephen, Puerto Santiago

Good to see Hogg back and performing more like his old self. Cast iron penalty claim when Ward brought down. Would have made a whole different ball game if 2-0. The ref went out of his way to favour the home side. Much improved attitude from our boys. Stephen, Upper Cumberworth

Yet another dismal performance and a costly error by our overrated goalkeeper. When, oh when is he going to be thankfully dropped and Bennett restored? Also why was Clarke restored to the side? He is also a liability at this level and with Lynch missing we really are struggling for centre-backs against Brighton. But we now know that we have to win at Yeovil to keep us in the division because I cannot see Town getting much from the Brighton, Watford and Leicester games. SPH, Almondbury

When I heard the team sheet and the ref's name I had a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. MR had said that he had identified the frailties, but only one of the 3 players receiving marks below 3 by the fans was dropped ,when the other 2 also did not even deserve a place on the bench IMO the game cried out for a start from the pocket Dynamo DH but despite the clubs philosophy of bringing on young players MR shows no confidence in them, despite 3 senior players being responsible for the result. Perhaps he thinks he will satisfy the Chairman if he sits one or two of the youngsters on the bench, with no intention of using them? James, Sheffield

Some good early moments BUT it's not working Mr. Robins, do we have to get relegated before you change the system and give some support through the middle to Wells? We need another win for survival and I can't see where it's going to come from. Trojanhorse, Kirkburton
