Huddersfield Town were downed 2-0 by a determined Doncaster Rovers team on Saturday.

A goal in the first half from Billy Sharp and one from David Cotterill in the second period consigned Town to another disappointing defeat after the highs of last weekend's win over Barnsley .

But what did you make of the game?

Terrible, awful, woeful and that is being kind! Sometimes it's hard supporting Town and Saturday was a day to forget... let down big time! C'MON TOWN HTFCMIN, Leeds

What a waste of money. Pathetic. If MR thinks the last few weeks have got better he is off his head. Heartless. Nothing to add! TJ, Horbury

The manager comes out and says the same things the fans are saying, but at the end of the day the buck stops with him. Maybe the threat of extra training and losing a few perks, or he might end up having time off. Look at Wigan & Uwe Rosler for an example of what can be achieved when a manager takes a firm grip of under performing players. By the way, for any (lucky) Town fans who didn't make it to Donny, it was worse than Sheff Wed game. THAT BAD! Steve, Hudds

Yet more inconsistency. We travelled over in good faith and apart from the opening five minutes we just did not compete. Another disappointment similar to the Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds (away), Forest and Barnsley (away) matches. Town seem to cave in as soon as the opposition put the pressure on. Why, oh why? SPH Almondbury

Another abysmal performance which seems now to be the trend for every other game. We showed no fight or ability to move the ball forward and I don't think we had a shot on goal in the second half. If this is progress I am baffled. Allan, Liversedge

Town not up for it again away from home, midfield with the as usual weak, ineffective Norwood never got a foothold on the game our midfield players with the exception of Southern don't know how to fight and are pussyfoots and prima donnas. Stanley, Oldham

No excuses, felt sorry for the magnificent 3,000 who made the wasted journey. David, Wyke

When we play a team that packs their defence while we nervously pass across the field then close us down quickly we don't have a clue how to break them down. What happened to having a Plan B? Lastly we need a leader in the middle of the pitch to take charge. Dec, Meltham

Lost every 50/50 can't remember a Town team lacking passion and effort - won't be going away again. Danny, Outlane

Another display against a side that will battle and we won't. We are mid table and safe, so these players are not interested going into a battle. They want to knock the ball around, but do not want to have to graft to get a win. I would drop six or seven for the Charlton game and give some of the U21's a chance. I would also be telling these so-called professional footballers, unless they are prepared to fight in these types of games, they will find themselves leaving in the summer. Time to bring in some loan players who are looking for a new club and who are willing to put a shift in and earn their wages. The players should donate their wages to a local charity after that display, because how on earth can they say they earned it. Stephen, Puerto Santiago

Poor - thought after 1st 10 mins this could be good but it went downhill fast from there - key moment - final whistle. Andrew, Cowlersley

Our midfield really is weak - combine Norwood and Clayton and you might get one player and that's all we have. Wells is on his own and certain well paid players aren't offering anything regularly. Who could seriously say today's result wasn't expected ? The usual suspects must go, but not many teams will pay them what we pay them. Very very poor. Luke, Lindley

Build up far too slow. All possession is sideways. Goal threat is virtually nil. The quality of each defender is questionable and the goal threat is generally from outside the box. In summary the the team performances are at best bottom to mid-table. Dick, Crosland Moor

How can the team be so inconsistent? It's like a swinging pendulum. One week outstanding the next awful, I think this summer a clear out is on the cards and the eternal central midfield position has to be addressed. Trojanhorse, Kirkburton
