THERE was a double FA Cup celebration for the Killock family from Scholes.

Shane Killock, 23, and younger brother Ross, 18, who is on Leeds United’s books, played in the first round of the famous competition for Harrogate Town and Afreton Town respectively.

And both were victorious with former Huddersfield Town player Shane helping Harrogate to a 1-0 victory at Torquay while Ross played his part in Alfreton’s 4-2 win at Wrexham.

Parents Carol and Dean watched the match at Wrexham instead of travelling down to Devon and they’ll be delighted the second-round draw has been good to their sons.

Harrogate Town have been drawn at home to Hastings United while Alfreton, also at home, will take on Gloucester City or Leyton Orient, whose tie yesterday was postponed.
