Duane Holmes is back at Huddersfield Town after an early finish to his loan spell at Championship rivals Yeovil.

The midfielder managed to play only 29 minutes of Saturday’s 3-0 defeat at QPR after hurting his ankle during the warm-up.

The 19-year-old made five appearances for the relegation-threatened Glovers.

His loan stint followed one start and 13 appearances as a substitute this season for Town, where he came through the academy.

Now he will train at PPG Canalside as Town prepare for Saturday’s trip to Blackpool.

Mark Robins has four players still out on loan.

Strikers Martin Paterson and Cristian Lopez are at Bristol City and Northampton respectively, midfielder Chris Atkinson at Bradford City and full-back Jake Carroll at Bury.

Northern Ireland international Paterson completed his move for the remainder of the season on Saturday morning and made his Bristol debut from the bench in the goalless League I draw against Swindon at Ashton Gate.

Spaniard Lopez, whose Town contract runs out this summer and is unlikely to be renewed, made his Northampton debut as a substitute in the 1-1 home League II draw with Mansfield.

The 24-year-old, who is on loan for the rest of the term but can be recalled after 28 days, will hope for another outing when second-bottom Northampton host Rochdale on Tuesday.

Atkinson is at Bradford until the close-season, but has made only one start and two appearances from the bench.

The 22-year-old was an unused substitute for Saturday’s home game against Gillngham.

Carroll, who is due back at Town on March 22, was also an unused substitute for Bury’s goalless draw at Southend on Saturday.

The League II side are away to Torquay on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old Irishman has made five appearances for the Shakers, scoring once.
