DEFENDER Martin McIntosh and midfielder Adnan Ahmed return to action tonight in what manager Peter Jackson believes is a further fillip for Town's strong promotion bid.
The injured duo will play in a friendly against Silsden at Cougar Park, Keighley (7.00), as the first stage of long-awaited comebacks.
While it will be another few weeks before they can push for senior call-ups, Jackson said today: "It's great to have them back!
"Adnan has been out all season and Tosh from the last week of August, so this is an important game for them tonight.
"They have been working very hard in training over the last couple of weeks and this will be a good run-out for them.
"Obviously we want them to come through unscathed and then it will be full steam ahead."
With Town Juniors in FA Youth Cup action at the stadium tonight - the ticket office is open until the 7.30 kick-off to sell Bradford and Forest tickets on special offer - the Reserves are weakened.
Coach Martyn Booty will play at left-back and the squad includes Under 16s Craig Thompson and Shane Killock.
Meanwhile, Northampton are in talks to extend the loan of Town striker Junior Mendes until the January transfer window.
Mendes has scored twice in six appearances at Sixfields and Colin Calderwood is impressed.
Town were in negotiations today about a ticket allocation for the FA Cup second round trip to Worcester City, who last night won their replay 1-0 against rivals Chippenham at St George's Lane.
The Town game is live on BBC I (1.05) on Sunday December 4.
Town Reserves - Senior, Hardy, McCombe, McIntosh, Booty, Walls, Ahmed, Collins, Hand, Young, Thompson. Subs: Killock, Martin.
