SPECIAL presentations will be made to Town stars Lee Fowler and Jon Stead before Saturday's game against Carlisle.

Ten minutes before kick-off, on-loan midfielder Fowler will be presented with his Welsh Under 21 cap for this season by former national manager Terry Yorath.

Then, striker Stead will receive his Umbro Isotonic Division III Player of the Month Award for September from Nationwide League representative Ian Christon.

Manager Peter Jackson said: "It's a nice honour for both players.

"Lee and Jon have done ever so well this season and, hopefully, it will spur them on for the game.

"Lee was very upset about his performance at Yeovil because he knows it was well below his usual standard. When he plays well, we play well because he wins tackles, creates chances and gets us going, so he's keen to get back to that."

Town Juniors, meanwhile, face Thackley in the second round of the FA Youth Cup after last night's 4-2 win on penalties against Grimsby, which was watched by Jackson.

Thackley beat Darlington in the first round and will visit the McAlpine on a date before November 8.
