FORMER Huddersfield Town star Gary Taylor-Fletcher has announced via Twitter that Huddersfield Town have signed Keith Southern.

The goal-getting Blackpool wingman told his 10,000+ followers on Wednesday that he was "gutted" that his best mate at the club had left.

Taylor-Fletcher, who played more than 80 times for Town between 2005 and 2007 before joining The Seasiders, said Southern, 31, would be a "great signing for Huddersfield."

Using his account on the social networking site, username @GTF_12, Taylor-Fletcher said the defensive midfielder, who is expected to arrive at Town in a £300,000 deal, would be a massive loss around Bloomfield Road.

He added: "Goodluck Gnashers."
