Former Liverpool coach Mike Marsh has joined Town’s new-look managerial set-up.

The 46-year-old ex-Anfield midfielder, who left the Premier League club in June, will work alongside head coach David Wagner and his assistant Christoph Buhler.

Marsh, who also played for West Ham United, Coventry City, Galatasaray and Southend United and was twice a Conference title winner – with Kidderminster Harriers, then Boston United – will join up with his new club for their five-day training camp in Spain .

Having worked within Liverpool’s academy system, Marsh stepped up to first-team level under Brendan Rodgers in May 2013 and he helped the Reds claim runners-up spot in the Premier League and therefore Champions League qualification in 2014.
