One non-league side did make it through, though, Conal Platt scoring twice, including an injury-time winner, to give Forest Green a 2-1 win at Blue Square Premier rivals Mansfield.

Kyle Perry had levelled for the hosts in the 71st minute.

Carlisle beat Morecambe 1-0 thanks to Joe Anyinsah’s fifth-minute goal, while Tranmere won by the same scoreline at Leyton Orient, Ash Taylor the scorer.
