TOWN fans will love Jonathan Tehoue.

That’s the view of skipper Andy Holdsworth, who is as frustrated as everyone else that the French striker’s international clearance has been delayed.

Tehoue is continuing to train well, and Holdsworth said: “He’s strong and very powerful and looks like he will get his share of goals.

“He’s the sort who runs in behind defenders and he will definitely add another dimension for us.

“Some of the lads have been saying he plays in the same sort of direct style to Akpo Sodje and he will track defenders, push them towards their own goal and create a lot of pressure.

“Defenders don’t like that sort of opponent and I think our fans will be very happy when they see him play.”

Congratulations to Lee Clark and his staff for the win against Leeds and also to the fans who had the banner proclaiming ‘there’s only one Gerry Murphy.’

He had two wins against Leeds and in Town’s three successive derby wins, all the goals have come from Academy products – Holdsworth, Joe Skarz, Michael Collins and Nathan Clarke.
