FC Halifax Town manager Neil Aspin will have to reshuffle his squad due to suspensions as they prepare to face Eastleigh in the Vanarama Conference Premier at The Shay on Saturday.

The Shaymen secured all three points in a 2-1 win against Dartford, despite going down to nine men as Lois Maynard and James Bolton both received straight red cards.

However, manager Neil Aspin had nothing but praise for his team after the win at Princes Park.

“When you play the last 20 minutes or so with nine men and then you come away with the three points, obviously you are really pleased with the players’ efforts,” said Aspin.

“They have done me proud and done the supporters who have made the long journey proud and it was a fantastic win, probably the hardest earned three points all season.

“It was a rewarding victory, even with 11 men we know that coming away from home is going to be tough and then going a goal behind and then with the sending offs for us then it makes it really difficult and it is obvious that they had a big bearing on the game.

“There are two sending offs and one was a sending off because it was a reckless challenge, but the first one was never a sending off in a million years and decisions like that can cost you the game, but fortunately for us on this occasion it didn’t.”
