EA Sports are set to release their newest instalment of FIFA next month, with UK football fans able to get their hands on a copy on September 29.

The game is already available to pre-order and a demo version of FIFA 17 will be released by EA Sports two weeks before the main release.

Although the video game is only available next month, some stats for the world's top football teams have been leaked online and some of the player ratings have caused a stir.

Thibaut Courtois' rating has been improved from 86 to 89, with team-mate Eden Hazard seeing his rating stay the same - 89 - despite a poor campaign last season.

Tottenham's Harry Kane is still rated at 82 in spite of his golden boot winning season last time out and Premier League winners Leicester have just two players rated at 80 or above - Jamie Vardy at 80 and Riyad Mahrez at 83.

Manchester United's Bastian Schweinsteiger has gone from an 85 rating to 86 after a lacklustre season at Old Trafford - while new boys Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are rated at 87 and 90 respectively.

Gareth Bale has seen no improvement of his 87 rating despite guiding Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 in France.
