Flo Bojaj is happy to play the waiting game at Huddersfield Town.

The teenage frontman is very much part of the first-team squad after extending his contract late last year.

Former Albanian Under 17 cap Bojaj earned a deal through to 2017 after impressing, and scoring goals, in the development ranks.

The 19-year-old has made six substitute appearances this time around.

And he’s happy to stay on the learning curve under head coach David Wagner.

Bojaj said: “It’s been really good playing under the head coach.

“He speaks to me a lot and tells me to keep working hard and wait for my chance. He has told me that I have a lot of potential.

“For a man like him to say that about me is brilliant especially considering he’s been around top clubs in Europe like Borussia Dortmund.

“He’s obviously seen a lot of talented players in his managerial career and for him to say I am one of those is pleasing and motivating.”

The form of 14-goal top scorer Nahki Wells has limited Bojaj’s opportunities.

Sky Bet Championship - MK Dons (1) v Huddersfield Town (1) - Nahki Wells equalises for Town.

“If Nahki has to come off one day then I might have to go on and do what’s required of me,” said Bojaj.

“I think I’m ready and I’ve been training a lot with the first team to get me to a stage where I can say that.”

The step-up from development to first-team level has not daunted Bojaj, and he puts that down to the “world class training” at the club.

“It’s not been a difficult transition because the training is very good, especially with Frankie Bunn,” he explained.

“If you want to be in his side, you have to be fit, work hard and run.

“It’s the same with the first team.

“Every time we lose the ball we need to apply reaction pressure to win it back.

“The training has been getting me ready for where I am now.”
