FORMER Huddersfield Town captain Jon Worthington has signed for Bradford City on loan.

Worthington, 27, has joined the Bantams on loan for a month from current club Oldham. The move is a return to West Yorkshire for Worthington who spent seven years at Town.

He moved to Oldham in 2009 under then boss Dave Penney, but was transfer-listed by new manager Paul Dickov last summer.

Worthington made 17 appearances for Oldham last season, but has only managed three games this campaign, all on loan at non-league Fleetwood.
