HARROGATE Town have signed former Town centre-back Shane Killock.
It means a switch from Blue Square Premier to North for the 23-year-old who spent last season at AFC Telford.
Killock, from Scholes, was released from Town’s junior system before re-signing after impressing at Ossett Albion, where he played as a 15-year-old.
He made one first-team appearance for the Galpharm club, in the 2-0 League I defeat at Crewe in September 2007.
While with Town he had loan spells at Hyde, Harrogate and Oxford, who then signed him permanently.
He switched to Telford after a loan spell there early in the 2009-10 season, and the following campaign, skippered the Midlands side to promotion to the Blue Square Premier.
Harrogate have also snapped up right-sided midfielder Dwayne Samuels from Worcester.
Manager Simon Weaver said: “I am very excited by these two signings.
“I didn’t know if we would get them and I am delighted that they have both seen what we are trying to achieve here.
“They are both super lads, not just with their football but also with their attitudes.”
