TOWN’S League I match at Bristol Rovers tomorrow has been postponed.

The pitch at the Memorial Ground was already under several inches of snow, and more fell overnight and this morning, bringing further chaos to the West Country city.

Horfield, the area where the ground is situated, is relatively high, and local roads have been badly affected.

The decision to call the match off was taken early to avoid Lee Clark and his squad setting off.

No new date has yet been confirmed, although because Bristol Rovers already have a backlog of games, the earliest available would be mid-March.
