TOM CLARKE could be training with Town's senior squad in the next 10 days.

It's a massive tonic for manager Lee Clark and his League I squad, because the 21-year-old was in terrific form before having to undergo knee surgery at the beginning of September.

Clarke played in the first five matches as Town made an impressive start to the campaign, featuring as a sub in the first and then making four successive starts, and his versatility adds another dimension to Clark's squad.

Town will have a look at him after the home match against Leyton Orient a week tomorrow, October 24, and see how he is, but the manager confirmed he is making excellent progress in his rehabilitiation and working tremendously hard to get back as quickly as possible.
