HUDDERSFIELD Town striker Robbie Simpson is ruled out of tomorrow's high-profile League I clash with Charlton Athletic at The Valley.

The 24-year-old frontman has been under treatment for the thigh injury which kept him out against both Chesterfield in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and Exeter City in League I.

Manager Lee Clark confirmed his signing from Coventry City would sit out the trip to the capital and would remain under treatment with the aim of being involved against Leyton Orient at the Galpharm next Saturday, October 24.

The only others not available against second-placed Charlton are Tom Clarke (knee) and Chris Lucketti (calf), and the manager travelled today with a strong senior squad.
