TOWN'S England junior international goalkeeper Simon Eastwood has joined Oxford United.
The 20-year-old has been released on a free transfer to take up a two-year contract with Oxford, who have just returned to the Football League as Blue Square Premier play-off winners.
Alex Smithies' understudy, who had a year remaining on his Town deal, has been limited to just one first-team appearance.
He was one of eight contracted players made available for transfer by boss Lee Clark after Town's League I play-off semi-final defeat by Millwall.
