TOWN legend Andy Booth will talk about his Galpharm future at the end of this season.

The 35-year-old, who is out of contract, is first of all keen to see how his fitness holds up after back surgery.

Booth explained: "My original aim was to get back for the last 10 to 15 games of the season and, hopefully, play a part, but I have started the last couple of games.

"I played 60 minutes in the reserves and had a couple of appearances as a substitute but other than that I hadn’t played a lot of football, so I was delighted to be back in the team so quickly.

"I am never going to be the quickest, but I know I am still lacking a bit of match fitness. I know what I am capable of and I am not there yet, but hopefully that sharpness will return in the next couple of games.

"We will talk about my future at the end of the season. For now I just want to play a part in the last nine games and then I can assess how my back is feeling. I want to play for as long as possible, but I will definitely know if I can continue or not come the end of the season."
