ANTHONY Pilkington and Michael Collins will not be rushed back against Carlisle if there is any chance they could be sidelined for longer.

Both players missed last week's trip to Yeovil with hamstring and ankle injuries respectively and have spent this week under the supervision of physio Dave Buckby.

They returned to full training today with manager Lee Clark intent of taking a long hard look at their prospects.

"We'll monitor them very closely and they'll have to be 100% fit to be considered," admitted Clark.

"No risks will be taken with them. For the sake of 24 or 48 hours, it is not worth jeopardising the rest of the season. I wouldn't do that with any player and their welfare.

"If Michael or Anthony are not ready for the Carlisle match, then they will have a chance for Brighton on Tuesday and certainly for Swindon next Saturday."
