On-loan QPR left-back Robinson is hoping to make the squad for this summer’s Euro Under 21 finals in the Czech Republic.
Southgate’s side will face Portugal, Sweden and Italy in one of the two groups.
Robinson won his 10th cap as a substitute in the 3-1 win over Portugal at Burnley last month.
England have one more warm-up game, against Germany in March, before the finals.
