IT'S close-season at Town so everything's pretty quiet until tomorrow's publication of the 2004-05 fixture list.
But life goes on for the Trust and our next members' meeting is the AGM at the McAlpine on Monday, August 2, although it may have a new name!
Formal notices will be issued shortly but members should be aware nominations to the committee can be made now.
Each should be supported by two members and should include a short summary of what the nominee hopes to contribute to the running of the Trust.
There are vacancies to be filled, quite apart from offering members a voting choice in the elections.
Nominations can be sent to PO Box 1908, Huddersfield HD4 6WT, or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
In addition to the formal part of the meeting, it is planned to ask the membership for approval of a matched funding project which will mark a significant partnership with the club.
More details will be given later but it is expected Town chief executive Andrew Watson will endorse the partnership and to enlighten us further on that project and on a second one under consideration.
Annual members who haven't done so are urged to renew their subscription of £10 - if only to authenticate their votes at the AGM!
