ST HELENS coach Ian Millward rates Martin Gleeson among the top three centres in the game but will not make special plans to deal with him when Warrington visit Knowsley Road tonight.

The 24-year-old former Giants star, who scored 25 tries in 57 appearances for Saints, returns to Knowsley Road for the first time since his £200,000 transfer to the Wolves last July.

"Gleese is a fantastic player," said Millward. "When we played Warrington the other week, we never set any plan to counter-act him. Our guys have played long enough with him to understand how he plays. They didn't need to be bombarded with too much information."

Also tonight, Wigan will be aiming to avoid a fourth successive defeat - for the first time for 20 years - when relegation-threatened Widnes visit the JJB Stadium.
